玉佛寺臥佛像

位於上海市普陀區玉佛寺臥佛堂。此像為清光緒八年（1882）由玉佛寺首任住持慧根法師從緬甸迎奉而來。佛右脇而臥，右手屈肱托頭，左手輕置左腿，呈吉祥臥。額頭髮際有鑲嵌寶石的帶狀寶冠，身披袒右袈裟，衣紋線條圓滑流順。
該臥佛像不似一般佛涅槃安詳寂滅的狀態，而是睜眼流露出喜悅微笑。其玉質色澤潔白，姿態細緻生動，又具歷史意義，是該寺重要文化資產之一。
