此寫經共七冊，經摺裝，每冊共計五十二折面，用金泥畫出上下邊緣線，每面書寫六行，每行有十七至十九字不等。卷首圖占四面。一九六三年指定為韓國寶物第278號。
卷首圖為木刻版金泥印刷，各卷卷首圖為不同題材的變相。經文為白紙墨書，字體剛勁健實，全經以同一字體抄寫，雖沒有高麗時期（918～1392）的流利，卻是朝鮮（1392～1910）初期保存較完好的作品之一。
據記載，此寫經為李氏夫人為了祈禱丈夫柳謹冥福而製，因書有朝鮮太宗十五年（1415）的明確紀年，列為研究韓國寫經的重要史料。
