達摩像 金明國

韓國

朝鮮時期(1392~1910)中葉,禪畫隨著禪宗的風行而興盛,此作為韓國最具代表的禪畫之一。
 達摩戴風帽,風帽輪廓線與衣紋皆用粗筆,線條沉穩利落,運筆強而有力,以大膽的筆觸表現出菩提達摩禪定的內在精神世界,反映作者無拘無束的性格,其風景、人物禪畫中,也可看到類似之特徵。圖左側題有金明國之號「蓮潭」,下鈐「蓮潭」、「金氏明國」朱文方章。
 金明國字天汝,號蓮潭、醉翁。韓國朝鮮中期浙派畫家代表之一。安山(今京畿道安山市)人。雖傳承安堅派畫風,然筆致遒勁有力、自由奔放,作品多具有浙派後期狂派畫風。以簡筆法作畫,表現內在精神世界,世人稱其為構思粗獷、筆法豪放的韓國畫家代表。
