此圖有韓國最完美的高麗佛畫之譽。淨土三尊像最早是以阿彌陀佛、觀世音菩薩、大勢至菩薩組成西方三聖,後淨土信仰與地藏信仰結合,地藏遂取代大勢至菩薩,形成了另一種新圖像的組合。一九八四年指定為韓國國寶第218號。
 此幅為突顯主尊,阿彌陀佛約占畫面一半,觀音、地藏身軀較小,形成對比。三尊像雙足均分踏於蓮花上。阿彌陀佛向右微側,左手舉於胸前,右手垂下,掌心有千輻輪;眉間白毫光射出一道光芒延伸至圖左下隅,照耀合掌跪坐的往生者。觀音躬身凝視,手捧蓮台作來迎狀;地藏立於佛右側,採正面立姿,右手托寶珠,左手執錫杖。
 作品描繪技法與設色多見於高麗佛畫,以暗色為主色調,具強烈的裝飾性。佛的袈裟飾團花紋和卷草紋,推測為十四世紀中葉作品。此圖與中國內蒙古額濟納旗黑水城出土的阿彌陀佛接引圖有共通的基本形態,應是受到西夏(1032~1227)佛畫的影響。
