寧波 浙江 僧人畫家
生卒年不詳。南宋（1127～1279）僧、畫家。為四明地區（今浙江寧波）民間之佛畫家。其擅於掌握以水墨表現雲煙之手法，展現幽光深玄的立體空間感，將水墨用於表現微光的技巧，發揮得淋漓盡致。
傳世之作阿彌陀佛三尊像，為三幅一組的畫軸，每幅高127公分，寬約48.8公分。每幅均有「四明普悅筆」之落款，「四明」乃浙江寧波西南四明山一帶的別稱，推測普悅係宋代（960～1279）天台宗四明尊者知禮之法脈。該作品後來流傳至日本，現為日本重要文化財，藏日本京都清淨華院。
