菩提 吳迥

「菩提」，意譯覺、智、道等，係指斷絕世間煩惱而成就解脫的智慧。此印文為白文鳥書（以鳥頭、鳥身盤曲蜿蜒的美術書體），以增損筆畫章法為原則，全印以奇特取勝。
吳迥字亦步。歙縣（今安徽歙縣）人。篆刻宗法何震，深得其要。董其昌推崇之，評其印作：「亦步舞象時，氣已吞虎，今猶二十許人，試以其印章雜之長卿（何震）印中，不復可辨。」其印風蒼莽，結構緊湊，屬猛利印風。
