與德亮和尚七言聯句 釋圓瑛

此為圓瑛大師寫贈德亮法師的七言對聯，每幅高136公分，寬34.5公分。圓瑛大師乃一代高僧，嗣為臨濟宗第四十世。善詩文、書法。一生多與社會事務，如創辦「僧民學校」、「寧波佛教孤兒院」，也曾組織僧侶救護隊，幫助受戰爭之患的傷兵與難民，悲憫眾人又能化為具體行動，可見其高潔情操。但在此聯之中，「林泉深處」、「風月佳時」又是一片山林之中的高雅之情，別具一番風味。
此聯書寫以行楷為基調，部分筆畫雖簡省如草字，但仍施以楷書的體勢，使整體仍展現端楷的氣派。又其用筆穩而重，縱橫提按變化不多，但因氣力首尾不懈，反而呈現出暢達的筆調，架構出堂堂中正的書風，便有拙處，也正是趣味佳處。
