Guanyin Temple White Pagoda: Stele
觀音寺白塔
天津薊縣
位於天津市薊縣，在獨樂寺正南約300公尺的軸線上。始建於遼代（907～1125），明（1368～1644）清（1644～1911）兩代均曾修葺，然主要結構和形制仍保持遼代風格。因塔身色白，塔前原有觀音寺，故名觀音寺白塔。
該塔為八角形磚構，通高30餘公尺。塔下有台基，上設基座，再上為平座欄杆。第一層塔身樓閣式，上有密檐三層，再上塔身為覆鉢式喇嘛塔。樣式結合樓閣式與喇嘛塔式，在中國古塔形制中甚為罕見，與北京房山雲居寺北塔相似，同為遼塔中的精品。
第一層塔身之四正面砌門，然僅南門為真門，可入塔內，其餘三面為磚雕假門；四隅面有浮起的碑形，上題佛教偈語「諸法因緣生／我說是因緣」、「因緣盡故滅／我作如是說」、「諸法從緣起／如來說其因」、「彼法因緣盡／是大沙門說」。八面轉角處作三層小塔，不僅豐富塔身裝飾，且強化八角塔的外輪廓。
