佛面相豐腴，高肉髻，五官刻劃簡括，神態端莊。身著袈裟，衣紋皆以對稱均勻的線條呈現。雙手合於腹前，結跏趺坐於束腰佛座上，下為四足方台。頭光淺刻蓮花紋，背光為尖長蓮瓣形，上刻火焰紋，刀法如行雲流水，線條舒暢。四足方台正面銘刻「正始元年（504）五月十五日佛弟子任廷為父沂敬造」。
此像純樸簡略的風格類似山東博興造像，而服飾的線條和背光的紋樣富裝飾趣味的創作手法，流暢爽利，繁密有序，極為少見。
