位於扎塘寺（gra thang dgon pa）佛殿西壁北側下部佛說法圖的左上方。弟子像均為短髮蓄鬍鬚、高鼻深目，具胡人相貌。弟子群像內著白色交領衣，外著各色寬袖袍，披搭各色袈裟。或手持經書，或合掌於胸前，或屈手作思考狀。
畫家利用人物眼神的動向，表現出弟子虔敬聞法的神態，目光皆側向說法圖中心的佛陀。人物面部以凹凸法暈染，呈現立體效果。頭光或紅或綠，深淺有致，色彩亮麗。
