位於日本滋賀縣高島市新旭町保福寺本堂，為該堂之主尊。據台座內部的整修銘文記載，江戶延寶六年（1678）進行過整修，雕造完成至整修期間經過七百七十年，若據此推算，則該像為十世紀初期所作，現為日本重要文化財。
佛的頭部、身軀由整材檜木雕造而成，再補身體左側、腳部材，然後各別接合含袖的左臂、右肩、肘、手腕等細部，但下裙的前端已失，背面及像底內刳。身軀漆繪金箔。肉髻高聳，螺髮細小，面長豐腴，眉間刻有白毫，眉長目秀，大耳垂肩。高腰，身軀偉岸，頸部及胸腹有分節刻痕，腰身內縮，兩膝左右伸張，具安定感。雖然看得出翻波式衣紋，刀法清晰，但尖銳度較弱。
