Kaihua Temple Lianli Pagodas
開化寺連理塔
山西太原
位於山西省太原市西南17公里蒙山山麓開化寺遺址。北宋淳化元年（990）建。兩塔並列，左為化身佛釋迦牟尼佛舍利塔，右為定光佛舍利塔，兩塔基座相連，故稱連理塔。二○○六年列為山西省文物保護單位。
兩塔形制均為方形單層塔，磚土砌築，高約12公尺。下為束腰須彌座，座上為方形塔身，每邊長3公尺，正面闢半圓形拱券門，券頂飾以火焰形券面，隱刻花草圖案。塔檐以磚疊澀十一層挑出，塔頂反疊澀內收。方形剎座上雕成蓮花瓣四重，上置八角小亭，頂部置寶珠，已毀。
連理塔形制具唐代（618～907）單層塔風格，塔頂與塔剎則具宋（960～1279）遼（907～1125）作風。雙塔在中國佛教建築遺物中留存甚多，但兩塔塔基相連並列建造的方式在中國古代建築史上極為罕見。
