瞿曇寺佛傳圖之降魔

位於瞿曇寺（gro tshang rdo rje 'chang）隆國殿迴廊。降魔圖是佛傳故事中的一個情節，表現魔王波旬率領魔眾阻礙釋迦成佛的場面。
該壁畫使用漢地變化豐富的勾線手法，人物造型生動；施以暈染的著色方式，將一群醜惡的妖魔表現得淋漓盡致。魔眾手持各種器械，面目猙獰，全身肌肉賁張，衣帶隨其強烈動作而飄展，與釋迦堅定的姿態、寧靜的面容形成對比。構圖動靜有序，是瞿曇寺壁畫中諸多精彩的上品佳作之一。
