Bezeklik Cave 33: Illustration of the Mahaparinirvana Sutra - Disciples in Mourning
柏孜克里克石窟第33窟涅槃經變相之舉哀弟子
新疆吐魯番
位於北壁西側。該窟為大型長方形縱券頂窟，南北側壁繪有大型本生因緣故事，正（西）壁是塑繪結合的涅槃經變。這幅舉哀弟子群像即為涅槃圖延伸至北壁西端的畫面。
圖中表現眾比丘弟子得知佛入涅槃，悲痛萬分的場景。有的張嘴呼號，有的掩口悲泣，有的以手抱頭，不知所措。畫家將人物的表情描繪得淋漓盡致，是回鶻高昌（9世紀中葉～1209）強盛時期的繪畫佳品。
