Vajrapani Bodhisattva with Vajra Anuchara

印度比哈爾邦出土
印度比哈爾邦（Bihar）出土。金剛手菩薩和脇侍相隨的造像形式，是從東印度的比哈爾邦和孟加拉文化延續而來。主尊金剛手菩薩戴尖聳寶冠，表面樸實無華，僅以抽象形式象徵五佛寶冠。佩戴耳璫、項鍊、手環、臂釧及腰帶。上身赤裸，臀部斜披飄帶，下身著腰布，緊身貼體，淺刻工整的雙弧線衣紋，頗為圖案化，顯然受到笈多王朝（約320～550）秣菟羅（Mathura）造像影響。右手自然伸展結印，持金剛杵，左手輕置脇侍頭部。肩寬腰細，雙腿豐圓，腰臀略向左傾，姿勢自然，曲線柔和優雅。
菩薩左側脇侍短小精幹，戴蛇形項圈，佩寶飾，雙手交叉，頗具形象特色。唯造像細部已模糊難以識別，可能被用作儀式用途故而磨損。
