The Bodhisattva has typical facial features of sculptures from this period, including a high usnisa, large eyes with eyelids closed, a wide nose and mouth, and joined eyebrows. Lotus stems and buds extend from both sides of the nimbus. The head of the Bodhisattva tilts toward the left and the slender body is simply adorned with earrings and a necklace. The Bodhisattva wears a dhoti and sits with legs crossed on a lotus throne, which is illustrated with a pod, petals, leaves, and stems. The pod and stem are decorated with studs, and the leaves appear long and curled. The right hand is held in a fist while the left hand holds a vase.
