This head depicts a young male with a furrowed forehead and lifted brows over staring eyes. The nose is wide and the lips of the small mouth pursed above a large chin. The impression of strong emotion, typical of many heads from the Qigxin site, is spirited but enigmatic. The ears are particularly large, especially at the top, emphasizing the extraordinary treatment of the hair as it sweeps upward in a peak that hangs slightly to the right.
