Gilt bronze
The mustached Bodhisattva is shown seated in the posture of relaxation on a lotus throne that is supported on a round petal-decorated base. A gem is held in the left hand while the right hand is open. A Buddha is visible on the tall headdress, which identifies the figure as Avalokitesvara. Long ribbons tied at intervals drape down the side of the body from the headdress. The only other ornament the Bodhisattva wears is a necklace. The robe is unadorned and opened at the front.
