Pasho Monastery: Vajrasattva

CHINA, Tibet, Qamdo

This Vajrasattva wears a five-leaf crown surrounded by buoyant ribbons and lavish earrings. The bared body is adorned with intricate jewelry and a stole that winds down the arms to the skirt below the waist. The figure’s hands are in the lap holding a vajra.
