Ink and color on linen
The figure of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is only partially visible due to damage. One eye, part of the headdress, an earring, and a faint nimbus are visible in the upper register. The left hand appears to hold a vase while the right hand gently grasps a willow branch between the thumb and forefinger. Ornaments adorn the body, and a stole is wrapped around the arms. An inscription on the right beside the nimbus pays homage to Avalokitesvara. Five small cloth loops for hanging the painting are attached to the top and bottom.
