十四世紀作品，為貴族捐資發願而製，作為禮拜或供奉於廳堂。於高麗時期（918～1392）佛教繪畫中，占有重要的地位，現藏美國舊金山亞洲藝術博物館。
一般阿彌陀佛畫像周圍或有二位、四位，乃至於八位脇侍菩薩，或有許多弟子及天王等像，此幅則是以阿彌陀佛與八大菩薩為主題。
阿彌陀佛結跏趺坐於台座上，面相飽滿，螺髮肉髻，眉心有白毫，雙目微睜，豐唇，鼻翼寬大。身著朱色袈裟，衣紋簡潔流暢，內著僧祇支，雙手於胸前結印。其左為觀音、文殊、彌勒和金剛手菩薩。右為大勢至、普賢、地藏和除蓋障菩薩。菩薩皆帶圓形頭光，臉部豐腴，頸佩瓔珞，著天衣披帔帛。
此幅畫中人物比例大小明顯勻稱和諧，主次分明。作品為水墨彩繪，局部描金，華麗高雅。
