牙雕觀音菩薩像

喀什米爾八世紀作品。菩薩髮髻高綰，上有禪定化佛一尊，確認此尊為觀世音菩薩。容貌娟秀，袒上身，體型豐腴。頭披帛巾，頸戴項圈，身飾瓔珞，臂腕佩釧，裝飾華麗，肩披花環繞肘垂至膝下。左手執長莖蓮花，右手施與願印，呈三屈式，立於仰覆蓮台上，姿態優雅。菩薩兩側各有一人像，其右者雙手合十，呈胡跪姿；左者站立，皆面向主尊。
此件原為三聯式雕像之一，以佛陀於靈鷲山宣說《妙法蓮華經》為題材。雕像依其原有的紋理雕琢，風格華麗而脫俗，增添作品古樸的意境。
