通塔嗎差寺佛傳圖之決意出家

位於泰國吞武里府（Thon Buri）通塔嗎差寺（Wat Thong Thamachat）。為拉瑪三世（Rama III，1824～1851在位）時期作品，描繪悉達多太子決意離宮出家前與妻兒最後的告別。
此圖以寢宮外觀為背景，運用一浮於半空的蓮瓣跳脫空間，表現室內實景。蓮瓣呈紅底飾金色火焰紋，內為悉達多立於牀前俯視睡夢中的妻兒。蓮瓣下方酣睡的宮女軀體橫陳，睡姿粗鄙，如佛傳記載天神故意醜化宮中女眷形象，俾令太子出離之心更堅定。圖上方的鋸齒條紋形成優美的山形，區隔出其上踰城出家情景。整體構圖巧妙，用色華麗而和諧，為該時期壁畫佳作之一。
