Tayok Pye Temple: Standing Buddha
達佑卑寺佛立像
緬甸
位於緬甸曼德勒省蒲甘（Bagan, Mandalay）達佑卑寺（Tayok Pye Temple）東壁北側，刻劃佛陀於菩提樹下沉思，極具緬甸文化的特色。
佛陀於菩提樹下金剛座上開悟成道之後，仍持續了七週的禪行，一面沉浸在成道後的法樂中，一面思惟是否向世人宣說所證得的解脫真理。此段內容在印度並無系統的描述，但於緬甸卻是佛傳中極為普遍的題材，此壁畫即描繪佛陀於最初七週中的樹下思惟。圖中佛頂飾火焰紋，呈立姿，左手屈舉至胸前結印，頭略俯，作沉思狀。身後背光之外有飛天環繞，其間穿插茂密的花葉圖樣。
