位於緬甸曼德勒省蒲甘（Bagan, Mandalay）里特普特坎寺（Letputkan Pagoda）南壁西側。此圖描繪佛陀至忉利天宮為生母摩耶夫人說法三個月後，天眾以金、銀、琉璃砌成三道寶梯，護送其返回人間。其時佛陀在音樂及歌聲伴隨中離開天宮，再往僧伽施國向信徒說法的佛傳題材。
圖中佛陀頭頂火焰紋，帶頭光與身光，著赭色袒右袈裟，緩緩自天梯而下，周圍天眾環繞。佛前方手執圓鉢、身披帛帶者為帝釋天；後方擎白色傘蓋者為三面梵天，隨後樂神般遮翼彈奏樂器，以樂聲歡送佛陀。作品構圖飽滿，以紅色為地，賦色亮麗，人物之間穿插花葉紋飾，尤顯繁複華麗。
