彌勒佛坐像 慶因
日本長崎縣壱岐郡鉢形嶺經塚出土
日本長崎縣●（o）岐郡鉢形嶺經塚出土。現為日本重要文化財。
此像以滑石整材平板雕出，像高54.3公分，底部方形刳空，推測由此孔納入經典或經筒。佛面相長圓，肩部豐實，身著通肩袈裟，衣紋淺雕，手結禪定印，結跏趺坐於仰蓮座上，造型樸拙。
造像背面銘刻「延久三年（1071）……願主天台僧 教因／佛師肥厚講師慶因／佛子賴圓／日本國壹岐●（1）物部鄉鉢形嶺／奉納置如法妙法蓮華經奉籠胎內……」，詳細記載造像年代、功德主、彌勒信仰及像胎內收藏《妙法蓮華經》之旨趣。蓮座中央及其周圍線刻九個圓圈，圈內銘刻九品往生與供養人名，為日本平安時代（794～1185）遺存珍貴的彌勒佛與阿彌陀佛信仰結合之造像實例。
