虛雲和尚自題詩 釋虛雲

此自題詩，為虛雲老和尚對自己一生的評語，一九九六年刊刻於臺灣高雄佛光山寺百人碑牆。
筆畫的起始之間，多以平直為基調，落鋒與收筆也都很清楚，再加上字架方正，並無特異或形象太顯明的結字，故呈現出簡單而整齊的風貌。此外，由於書寫並不快速，且用筆多不露鋒，使線質有醇厚樸質之態，近於碑體之莊重，應是書寫者個人的秉性與書寫態度所致，也是此書值得欣賞、品味之處。
虛雲俗姓蕭。法名古巖，字德清，六十一歲修隱於終南山，更名虛雲，號幻游。近世禪宗大德，身繫五宗法脈，一生精進行持，發願振興十方叢林，重建大小寺院、庵堂八十餘處。
