此尼泊爾銅鎏金造像，刻劃摩耶夫人於樹下降誕悉達多太子的題材。夫人右手上舉扶搭枝椏，悉達多太子自右脇而出；左手屈肘，拇指和食指相捻。左腳在前，右足在後踮起腳尖，踏於束腰仰覆蓮台上。身形呈「S」形立於無憂樹下，展現出優雅曼妙的動感。
此像長髮披肩，頭戴寶冠。面龐豐腴，眉眼細長，鼻梁挺直，雙耳佩戴巨型耳璫。袒上身，頸飾精緻項鍊，腕戴寬邊手鐲。雙肩帔帛繞過手臂垂下，再卷曲上揚。下身腰布分成三股，隨身姿擺動，末端作蓮瓣狀，內為圓形蓮花。整體造像包括冠飾、手飾、服裝、佩件，以及樹上蓮瓣形的葉片均鑲嵌了各色珠寶，搭配得宜風格一致，適切地展現了貴族的雍容華貴。
