藏傳佛教供養像中，阿彌陀佛呈無量壽和無量光兩個身形，按照不同的儀軌進行禮拜，為藏傳佛教所特有。通常無量光為如來相，無量壽為報身相。
此唐卡表現藏傳佛教典型的無量光佛形象，通身為紅色，青髮肉髻，頂飾寶珠，身著雙領下垂式袈裟，內著僧祇支，結跏趺坐於圓形座上，雙手結禪定印並持鉢。頭光及身光外緣飾花葉。
佛身後宮殿示以西方極樂淨土，襯以亭台樓榭、流雲、樹木；兩側為八大菩薩，整體設色鮮麗，布局豐富而嚴謹。此幅唐卡的裝裱有雲龍紋圖案，明顯受漢地文化所影響。
