新疆維吾爾自治區吐魯番市高昌故城佛教遺址出土。此像面形為一胡人中年男子形象，頭冠呈「山」形，上淺陰刻魚鱗紋，為唐代（618～907）武官冠式。其臉橢圓，雙眉高挑，兩眼圓睜，鼻圓嘴小，略帶笑容，髭鬚卷曲，絡腮鬍呈半月形遮隱下頦。該處寺院發現類似的泥塑頭像，此尊晚唐時期（846～907）的頭像與之相較，尺寸略大。
