新疆維吾爾自治區吐魯番市高昌故城佛教遺址出土，一九○四至一九○五年間由德國人勒柯克發掘。
菩薩雲鬢上綰，髮髻寬平，外覆網紋髮罩，前額髮紋呈雲狀對稱梳理，其線條與頭髮之陰刻線呼應，十分精巧細緻。額頭高寬，面相腴潤，眉毛為陰線壓刻，細長上挑，瞳仁淺淡，目光和潤，鼻挺秀氣，唇如紅菱，嘴角淺笑。
造像體現出中國西域樣式的風格特徵。
