Wat Ratburana: Vessel in the Shape of a Water Bird

泰國大城府大城遺址復興寺出土
一九五七年泰國大城遺址（Ayutthaya）復興寺（Wat Ratburana）出土。該寺主塔地宮發現大量的佛教藝術珍品，此金聖鳥即為其中一件，為大城時期（1350～1767）十五世紀作品。
器作鵝形，以金質薄片錘鍱而成。昂首翹尾，圓目，長喙，口微張，鳥冠以細金珠捻成。背部開口，兩翼收，胸腹鐫刻形似瓔珞的圖紋，精美華麗。足內縮，作蹲踞狀，安置於台座上。整體造型奇特，匠心獨運，應為佛教儀式用器物。
