菩薩頭戴造型精緻的寶冠，繒帶精巧盤結於耳後。額方頰豐，彎眉垂目，鼻梁秀挺，唇薄微翹，嘴角含笑，高雅莊嚴。身軀健碩，腹部微微前凸，下身豐圓。帔帛順雙肩垂下，戴臂釧，雙手屈舉，前臂已失。胸前佩項圈，帛巾佩飾相交於腹前，以一獸首相連接，裙飾各式串件，瓔珞華珠顆粒細密，大小相間，造型繁複華麗。足趺飽滿，跣足站立。
此像形體十分高大少見，部分彩繪金箔已脫落，從瓔珞樣式分析，應原出自山西省。
