該作品在中國鎏金銅觀音造像中，執蓮莖的觀音像為最早出現的樣式之一。
觀音頭戴高冠，髮紋刻劃細膩，秀骨清像，眉目細長。身後有蓮瓣形火焰紋背光。袒上身，佩項圈，帔帛自肩後繞過左手肘及腰部，向後披展。下身著短裙，褶紋規整。右手上舉持長莖蓮蕾，左手下垂提淨瓶，跣足立於簡化的蓮台上。
台下為四足方座，座框正面線刻卷雲紋飾與三角幾何圖案，左面刻造像發願文「太和八年（484）太歲在甲子辛未朔九月十九日樂陵縣人丁柱為上父造觀世音像一區丁利丁苻兄弟六人居家大小一十六所願眾心常與佛會」。
