佛高肉髻，髮紋呈漩渦狀，眉似彎月，眼大微啟，嘴角輕揚，鼻翼豐滿，耳大垂肩。頭後有同心圓形頭光及蓮瓣形背光，背光最外側為火焰紋，內有浮雕小化佛。身著圓領通肩袈裟，衣袖褶紋規律對稱，衣紋凸出加刻陰線，線條繁複，質感厚重，顯然受到犍陀羅風格影響。雙手結禪定印，結跏趺坐於台座上。背面雕七個尖拱形小佛龕，龕內各雕一尊坐佛，手結禪定印，象徵過去七佛。
底部台座刻發願文「自真□沖……干□道化替……難□是以……信道□……萬□□□……代承明元（476）……化生自□宿命□□功德普及十方六道眾生等供養佛□□□之□造」。
