Sikendeng: Standing Buddha

印尼西蘇拉威西省希肯登出土
一九二一年印尼西蘇拉威西省希肯登（Sikendeng, West Sulawesi）出土。印尼雕像多為石造，另有一些零散的青銅造像，此作品即為青銅遺品中尺寸較大者之一，其頭、手乃分別鑄造後再作接合，頭後存有固定頭光的縱長形榫頭。雙手及下半身現已損毀。
佛螺髮，無肉髻。臉形豐圓，深目高鼻，厚唇，鼻梁、耳垂略有殘損。肩寬，胸厚，腰細，體型健碩。右手舉於胸側似施無畏印，左手似握衣角。著袒右袈裟，衣紋均以雙重陰刻細線條構成，形成連續的雙平行斜線，流暢自然，雕工洗練。
此像於西蘇拉威西出土後，附近一帶曾進行廣泛調查，但並未尋獲寺院，據此推論並非在當地鑄造，因造像特徵與斯里蘭卡佛像相似，故一般學者推測作品源自斯里蘭卡。
