Wat Na Phra Men: Standing Buddha

泰國大城遺址那普拉曼寺出土
泰國大城遺址（Ayutthaya）那普拉曼寺（Wat Na Phra Men）出土。此像明顯具有他叻瓦滴時期（Dvaravati，約6～13世紀）佛教造像的典型特徵，低肉髻，螺髮粗大，額頭較窄。眉毛上揚，於眉心處相連，狀若空中盤旋的飛鳥。斂目凝神，神情肅穆。鼻梁挺直，嘴闊唇厚，耳垂長大。肩膀寬廣，身形修長。袈裟樣式承襲了印度笈多王朝（約320～550）鹿野苑造像藝術，整體氣質高貴典雅。
他叻瓦滴時期的石雕立像，多以當地砂岩為材，雕刻師為了遷就材質特性，一般刻劃樸素厚重，立像姿態均採直立式，袈裟垂至足部，肩膀與下襬同寬，手臂緊貼身體，手肘上舉，雙掌結印。然而石材的缺陷終究無可避免，故留存下來的立像大部分都雙手損毀。
