泰國佛統府佛統大金塔出土
泰國佛統府（Nakhon Pathom）佛統大金塔（Phra Pathom Chedi）出土，為他叻瓦滴時期（Dvaravati，約6～13世紀）之遺存。
圖中法輪正面下方為太陽神，帶橢圓形頭光，頂戴高冠，佩項圈、手鐲。兩手平舉於胸前持蓮，半跏趺坐，腳底朝外。其兩側各有一體格粗壯的藥叉，側身向外蹲坐，雙手扶膝，身軀前傾，背負法輪。法輪輻條仿古希臘漩渦形柱頭裝飾，輪輞則刻有多圈紋飾。太陽神一般表現作雙手持蓮、乘騎馬車的形象，為佛教護法之一，亦有學者視之為轉輪聖王的表徵。
