紅釉陶塑達摩像 劉傳

達摩，南天竺（今印度）人，梁普通元年（520）渡海至中國弘揚佛法，為中國禪宗初祖。此像高鼻深目，雙眉微蹙，目視遠方，神情堅定。身披斗篷，肩負包袱及斗笠。雖為靜態呈現，但衣襬輕揚，自然透出前行的動感。
作品強調造型的整體感，以紅色釉為基調，又巧妙地利用窯變使上身呈現金色與紅釉的雜錯，過渡自然，於統一中求得變化。
