筆筒呈圓形，高15.5公分，口徑19.24公分。外壁水紋錦地，髹綠漆。紅漆剔雕十八羅漢，在小島上或坐或立，或坐於樹上，或騎於虎背。島嶼、樹木及人物表現出很強的立體感，人物姿態各異，形象生動，別具一格地展現羅漢形象。底有四雲形足。
