Qing Imperial Palace: Plate with Lotus Design

清宮舊藏。盤木胎髹漆，橢圓形。高15.4公分，寬24公分。曲邊，作荷葉式。盤心內雕六瓣寶相蓮花，上有梵文六字真言，中央圓形花蕊亦有一梵字，左右兩側分別雕蓮瓣、蓮花、蓮蕾等紋樣。內、外壁錦紋地上均雕纏枝蓮紋，內壁施八吉祥紋，外壁上承雜寶。盤底髹黑漆，左側鐫刻填金「大明宣德年（1426～1435）製」楷書款。
剔紅乃漆器工藝的一種，即雕紅漆。漆器以梵字作裝飾，可見佛教盛行於明代（1368～1644）及其對宮廷文化產生的影響力。
