一九九○年寧夏回族自治區銀川市賀蘭縣宏佛塔天宮出土。宏佛塔，又稱王澄塔，維修時發現內藏大批西夏（1032～1227）文物，此木雕伎樂天即為其中之一。
頭戴冠，長眉大眼，高鼻小嘴，面容娟秀。袒上身，下著短裙。臉轉向右側，下視。右臂屈起向左，掌心向上；左手高舉反轉置於頭頂上，握一物。右腿盤屈，左膝稍屈，左足立於仰蓮台上。身軀作大幅度扭轉姿勢，加上帛帶飄繞，使整體在疾速舞蹈中產生無比的動感。
此作木質，原施有彩繪貼金已脫落殆盡。雕刻技法純熟，帶有濃厚的藏密藝術風格。
