燈，泛指佛前供養或室內照明所用之燈火。諸經典云，在佛塔、佛像及經卷前燃燈，能獲大功德。燈可破闇為明，故佛經中常將法、智慧比喻為燈。燈因燃料有別，分為酥油燈、寶燈、摩尼燈等。此燈為西南藏族典型的佛教器物，具有漢藏民族特色的工藝作品。
銀質，由燈盞、燈柄及燈座組成。燈盞呈深腹杯形，撇口，外壁錘鍱纏枝牡丹紋，及法輪、法螺、勝利幢、華蓋、蓮花、寶瓶、雙魚、吉祥結等八吉祥。圓柱形燈柄，中央鼓起，四面開光，內飾吉祥圖紋。圓形燈座，喇叭足，足緣飾波浪紋。底座上部錘鍱仰覆蓮紋，中層瓣片內收，並向下延展末端翹起。
