木漆描金舍利盒

盒體外形呈罐狀，束腰，分上下兩層。盒體及盒蓋表面紅漆描金，繪纏枝蓮紋。盒內奉納佛舍利，並置一黃色簽條，上書「乾隆三十八年（1773）十一月十五日收達賴喇嘛進利益燃燈佛舍利二顆乾隆四十年閏十月二十八日收達賴喇嘛進迦葉佛舍利二顆」。據此內容可知，盒內舍利為達賴喇嘛向清廷進貢的燃燈佛和迦葉佛舍利，這幾顆舍利後來被存放在此盒中，供奉於宮內佛堂。
據清代（1644～1911）文獻檔案，乾隆三十八年和四十年為八世達賴喇嘛強白嘉措（byams spel rgya mtsho）進貢之期，簽上所提即八世達賴喇嘛。
