甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。此圖似為當時的兒童畫，作者可能就是左邊長方形榜題旁的執花童子。
觀音頭戴化佛寶冠，頭光最外圈飾雲紋。唇上有小髭，雙頰略施暈染。左手提淨瓶，右手上舉持楊枝。瓔珞嚴身，帔帛隨風飄動，衣飾以不同紋飾點綴，裙襬呈波浪狀。
觀音立於出水蓮台上，蓮池旁有二隻黃色水鳥。圖左側有一株楊柳樹，畫面空隙處填充許多雲紋、摩尼寶珠、各種花朵，給人一種歡樂的氣息。
此圖形象手足與身體不合比例，整體稚趣橫生，但顯然有現成佛畫樣本可資摹仿。
