新疆維吾爾自治區吐魯番市鄯善縣吐峪溝石窟發現。繪製於唐代（618～907），十世紀作品。此圖雖僅剩殘片，但從構圖可知描繪的是《彌勒下生經》所述剃度的場面。
畫面左邊有一位貴族正身端坐於椅上，雙手合十，身後站立一人，手執剃刀正在幫他剃髮，旁有一跪者，雙手捧一盤子，承接落下的髮撮。圖上方壇上近側坐著二人，另繪幾身人物在旁跪坐，皆虔誠合十，推測該畫為彌勒下生經變相。下方繪八角攢尖頂建築的屋頂。
據斯坦因的說法，此殘片是在他之前的探險隊於吐峪溝溪谷沿岸的佛寺取回之物，推測是大幅畫作的一小部分。在斯坦因發現的很多遺品中，報告書內並無此項記載，推測此作或為圖畫完成前的素描。
