甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。屬八至九世紀初作品。此圖內容描繪悉達多太子年少時，在宮中向文、武先生學習的故事。
圖分成三部分，上方繪坐佛一尊，佛左手施無畏印，右手施與願印。中間繪頭戴寶冠的太子與文、武先生討論，文學和武功先生分別手持卷軸和笏板，榜題「尒時太子於宮中與文武先生議論時」。
下方多已殘破，可辨識的是一個習武場，右邊有一排銅鼓、鐵鼓的靶子，應是描繪《過去現在因果經》載太子曾以箭射穿成排的鐵鼓。與同藏於大英博物館，高37.5公分，寬17.7公分的佛傳圖，尺寸相近，外圍的邊飾一樣，為同系列畫幡。
