卷末山石中篆書款「萬曆辛卯（1591）歲於溫／陵客舍圖之吳彬」，「溫陵」為中國福建泉州古名。吳彬，莆田（今屬福建）人，遷居金陵（今南京）。善畫佛像、人物，兼作山水，此卷為其早期作品。
此卷高32.4公分，長414.33公分。卷首繪一羅漢禮拜觀音菩薩，卷末則是一羅漢坐於盤曲糾結的樹幹內。十六羅漢或三五相聚，或一人獨行，彼此呼應。在十六羅漢間作者加上了袒胸露腹的布袋和尚和足踏輪軸渡江的菩提達摩尊者。羅漢或坐或立，或止或行，形象奇古。
全圖賦色墨染鮮明典雅，衣紋用鐵線描法，線條流暢，樹石造型古拙高逸。
