Cisheng Temple: Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
慈勝寺觀音菩薩像
原河南省焦作市溫縣慈勝寺
原位於河南省焦作市溫縣慈勝寺。由壁畫榜題可知為五代後周廣順二年（952）繪製。表現手法與同藏於美國納爾遜藝術博物館的另一壁畫觀音菩薩像一致。慈勝寺元至元三年（1337）在原基礎上重建，現存山門、天王殿、大雄殿三座建築仍保持元代（1271～1368）官式營造法建築形制。
菩薩戴化佛寶冠，斂目俯視，神態安詳靜謐。面相豐圓、身軀壯碩，延續唐代（618～907）風格。雙手結印，結跏趺坐於蓮座上。頭頂及身上飾五彩瓔珞，予人華麗莊嚴之感。衣帶飄舉，用線細膩流暢。
