傳印度查漠和喀什米爾邦烏旭喀佛寺遺址出土

傳印度查漠和喀什米爾邦(Jammu & Kashmir)烏旭喀(Ushkur)佛寺遺址出土。烏旭喀古稱護瑟迦羅(Hushkapura),該寺在六世紀後仍相當繁榮昌盛,建有佛塔,也發現許多赤陶製的造像,一般推測造於六至七世紀間。由此像的臉部與髮型特徵判斷,具當地人民特徵,與阿克努爾(Akhnoor)的赤陶造像以及鄰近的犍陀羅灰泥造像大致相近。
 該頭像五官、髮絲以線刻勾勒,線條簡單。頭髮整齊地往後梳,少有波狀的彎曲。眉毛高挑,雙目細長,面帶微笑。該頭像表現的人物身分尚無法考證。
